O n January 10, 2023, the legendary guitarist Jeff Beck, considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time, passed away at 78. Beck became known as a virtuoso who influenced many of the guitar heroes who came after him — including in the metal genre.

He is considered to have led the rock-blues scene in the UK, was known for his improvisational skills and his love of harmonies, won seven Grammy Awards, entered the Rock Hall of Fame twice, and was ranked fifth on Rolling Stone’s list of the greatest guitarists ever.

Unlike more popular guitarists who have gained significant international recognition, Beck is considered a valued guitarist among anonymous and especially famous guitarists who appreciated his unique and different talent that is only associated with him, such as David Gilmour and Bon Jovi — see for yourself.

Here, it is worth noting that Beck contributed a lot to shaping the figure of the virtuoso guitarist and managed to influence many guitarists worldwide who tried to imitate his movements on stage.
