Why do famous artists sometimes disappear for months or years without releasing music?
Many artists who started with full vigor burst into consciousness with hits and a creative line that was identified with them, won great sympathy and meteoric exposure that included performances, propaganda noise, and increased social visibility for many years, and one clear day disappeared from consciousness and the media for months or even years, or remain in the background on a small fire without renewing or refreshing the collection.
We wake up to this by asking about the artist who “disappeared”, what is happening with him, and why we stopped hearing about and from him.
This happens to many artists around the world, both on the indie side and those signed to record companies, who have gained international exposure.
