Only in the rock genre did metallic textures, electrifying solos, and pioneering sounds leave an indelible mark on music history. Still, no one has yet to decipher whether the powerful sound alongside the raw energy is directly responsible for the genre’s connection with its fans.

The captivating energy, alongside the lively spirit often present, contains a seductive, rather secret, and indecipherable element that has managed to conquer millions of listeners and fans worldwide and create an irresistible appeal for decades.

In this article, I have chosen to review the ten most popular rock albums, according to public opinion, released between 1970 and 2019. These albums carved their place in the rock legacy and yielded countless hits.

Several songs achieved iconic status thanks to their timeless solos, which resonate deeply with listeners and seem likely to remain on the shelves for decades.
