Veteran music producer Dr. Dre, a Los Angeles native who hosted the 56th Super Bowl, held the halftime show tonight and garnered huge applause from the audience. His ex. Beside him bombed Mary J. Blige, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar. Oh, and 50 cents surprised.

The 56th Super Bowl took place at night (Sunday through Monday) at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles (Los Angeles Rams won if that means anything to you). This year, in honor of the City of Angels and the musicians who came from it, the people of the event decided to let the music producer and rapper Dr. Dre lead the event.

Even before the show began, about two months ago, Sderot, who grew up in Compton and grew up in the city’s tough neighborhood as part of the legendary N.W.A. Hip-hop ensemble, and then nurtured artists like Tupac and Snoop Dogg, will host the latest, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem.

As you may recall, last Thursday, a lawsuit was filed anonymously against Snoop Dogg for sexual assault on the part of a woman who claimed to have worked in 2013 as a dancer for Snoop in his performances. According to her, the veteran rapper and his partner forced her to have oral sex with them after one of the shows in his studio, and he, in turn, claimed that it has been extortion just before his big show.
