Not everyone closely follows the fluctuations in the music industry, especially those not among the musicians, producers, and industry people. Still, I will not be ashamed to say that over 90 percent of the musicians in the world are not interested in fateful cultural decisions like that of Apple Music.

Most musicians know that they must be international tycoons to appear on this meticulous list, which is diligently worked on by a team of experts, including artists, writers, producers, musical supervisors, editors, and other key figures.

Not in the name of political correctness and the attempt to wink at the young audience that mostly frequents the platforms and points with their feet to the artists of the time, Apple Music’s team of experts pushed to the margins some of the most iconic albums in history, rightly or wrongly, for purely commercial reasons and thus found themselves off the list: Neil Young and Led Zeppelin, Elvis Presley, the Queen Band, Leonard Cohen, and others found themselves at the bottom of the list or out of it altogether to make room for the era’s leaders, such as Fifty Cent, Drake, Taylor Swift, Frank Ocean, and others.
