After years of rumors, speculation, and hope from millions of fans worldwide, the long-awaited return of the legendary band Oasis has been announced. The announcement was accompanied by endless ecstasy among the local fan community and around the world, and the tickets for the reunion shows, which went on sale in the morning, were sold out in just 10 hours. Even earlier, ticket demand was out of control, with angry fans complaining of multiple glitches on the Ticketmaster UK website about the company raising prices.

Last August, 15 years after the last time they performed as a full band, brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher announced the reunion of their band, one of the most prominent and successful of the last 30 years — and this after a long period of disconnection and mutual slander. In their announcement, the brothers announced a UK and Ireland tour, adding: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. See it. It won’t be televised.”

As a high-quality rock band of its kind, I always expected an eternal solo piece that would play in my mind and brand the band. Still, they broke through with unique riffs that managed to brand each song masterfully and were a royal inspiration to ravishing guitarists worldwide and new songs
